Calling all young book lovers! Come join the book dragons, where we dive into the latest and greatest YA novels, classics, and everything in between. This is a space for teens to share their love for reading, engage in lively discussions, and connect with fellow book enthusiasts. Whether you're a fantasy fanatic, contemporary connoisseur, or mystery mastermind, our book club offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
A different genre is chosen every month to explore. Attendees will read any book within that genre to discuss (this can include manga, fiction, graphic novels, or short stories)
February- Memoir/Autobiography
This category is comprised of nonfiction stories about a person's life written by that person. The main difference is an autobiography focuses on facts, while memoirs are more about the overall narrative.
Examples:
- The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
- Born a Crime by Trevor Noah
- Long Walk to Freedom by Nelson Mandela
- The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
