Banned Books Week (September 27 - October 3, 2020) is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. Typically held during the last week of September, it spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools.

Library staff members have reviewed a few of the books that have been banned or challenged over the past year.  You can view their book talks by clicking on "Book Talks_5.pdf" to the right.  You can go right to these books in our catalog by clicking on the names of the books below.
