Join Baila Miller for a lecture about Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) an Austrian Symbolist painter, who was one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement. Klimt is noted for his paintings murals, and sketches. Klimt's primary subject was the female body and his works are marked by a frank eroticism. Among the artists of the Vienna Secession, Klimt was the most influenced by Japanese art and its methods. 

Baila Miller has been presenting college level courses that explore the role of literature, paintings, architecture, sculpture, cinema, photography, as well as, orchestral influences in the development of European and modern American culture.

Seating is limited to 70 participants. First come, first seated.
