Purpose of Meeting
Presentation of "BACK FROM THE BRINK" an old-fashioned Kodak slide show highlighting the story of the panther in Florida from the early days of the 1950s and 60s through today. This is NOT A LECTURE, it is an audience-friendly, interactive look from the dark days when the recovery of the panther was far from certain, up through the release of western cougars into Florida in the 1990s, and all the way up to today and the current outlook for wild panthers in Florida into the future. There will be a Q and A session after the slide show.
This show is highly recommended for interested people of all ages!
