Program Description
The Astralis Chamber Ensemble is one of the most active chamber ensembles in the United States, presenting over sixty recitals each season. Award-winning flutist and director of Astralis, Angela Massey has been a featured soloist with the Tryon Concert Association, Kosciuszko Foundation in NYC, and abroad in France, Germany, Italy, Romania, and Switzerland. Jacob Skiles will be the pianist.
The flute and piano duo from the ensemble will present, "Discoveries," and introduce the audience to works by the French composer Gaubert, a Soliloquy by Lowell Liebermann, and a gorgeous work by a female composer, Mel Bonis. Join us for a brilliant program with the Astralis Chamber Ensemble!
