Learn about geode rocks and create a watercolor painting of a cut geode with artist Melissa Hoesman!

A geode has a large irregular oval or circular shape with warm and cool hues in a range of values. Students will paint their geodes with watercolor glazes which are thin layers of translucent paint repeated to create the depth of color found in a geode.

Space is limited, so registration is required.
