Midge, a former music publishing executive, now devotes her time to refining her artistic talents. She creates striking abstract expressionist mixed-media paintings, drawing inspiration from Helen Frankenthaler, Georgia O’Keeffe, Lee Krasner, Pat Passoff, and the post-war abstract expressionists, as well as contemporary artists with whom she continues to study.
Alan, a classical pianist, has performed in hundreds of venues across New York, New Jersey, China, Russia, and Austria. Together, in 2021, they launched Midge Johnson Fine Art—a vibrant studio, gallery, and performance space located in Osprey.
