Program Description

Come join your neighbors for an exciting retrospective of the year 1957. This exciting audiovisual presentation examines the Global, National, State and Local highlights  from a surprisingly significant year. We begin our retrospective in January and end in December and relive along the way, seminal events in our national history: Cold War, Civil Rights, Politics, TV & Film, Music, Literature, Science & AUTOMOBILES! This program will delight those who lived it and fascinate those who didn’t. Presented by Mr. Steven Valdespino, M.A., Brown University. The author of Timothy Hatherly & the Plymouth Colony Pilgrims and a teacher for 25 years, Mr. Valdespino is the founder of HAVE LECTURE WILL TRAVEL and his programs promise Energy, Enthusiasm and Erudition! Intellectual stimulation has never been such fun.
