Purpose of Meeting
Cultural Community Event.
Please join us at the Shannon Staub Library on Saturday, the 18th of May, at 2 pm for a performance by the Milunka Savich Folklore Dance Group from the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in North Port.
This lively and engaging event will include Serbian cultural dance and song, as well as a brief Serbian history lesson. There will be interesting historical information on Milinka’s life (a WWI heroine), and the unique event of flying the Serbian flag over the White House in July of 1918.
There will be a question and answer session after the event
