Bring your projects, patterns, and questions to Elsie Quirk Library and join the Quirky Knitters for an afternoon of knitting and crochet.  All skill levels welcome.  Registration is not required, so come on in to knit and chat!

Join us for this two-part class to learn the basics of pine needle basket weaving!

Re-purpose glass to make something useful and beautiful.  All materials are provided.  No registration is required.  These programs are popular.  Seating is limited.  First Come, first seated.

Make a fun Japanese koi windsock using a cardboard tube, tissue paper, and streamers. 

Buddy up for a painting swap! Teens will pair up in this creative and collaborative project to paint a picture on the same canvas. Participants start their own painting, then swap with a partner to add to the new canvas.

Make colorful, original bookmarks for yourself or a friend using watercolors!

Recommended for ages 9-18.

We provide the supplies, you bring the creativity! A variety of materials will be available for you to explore and create. Recommended for ages 4-12.

Explore your thoughts and stresses through the creative process to discover problem-solving skills and solutions. Relax with a guided visualization and complete 2-3 drawings followed by discussion. No art experience required or necessary!

Every third Saturday of the month, this program will focus on a famous artist. Children will learn about famous artists and their methods and create their own masterpieces based on the style of that artist.

Join Teresa as she teaches the art of origami. She likes to create items to decorate a home or to give away as a gift. She brings in her own extra work as examples and sometimes to give away.

Put the finishing touches on your jewelry creations! This how-to workshop will teach you the essential techniques on how to use crimps, glue, toggles, and knots to complete jewelry pieces with confidence.

Drop in during this hour to draw your very own button badges at the library using our button maker! For ages 10-18.

Use paper rolls to make a variety of crafts, or freestyle and make your own creation with the supplies available!

Recommended for ages 5-9. 

LAST Stop is a drop-in program designed for teens in 6th through 12th grade to participate in fun activities, talk with friends, have snacks, and play games.

Join us and learn how to sew an Easy Hanging Towel. All Materials will be provided. 

Registration Is Required. Must know how to sew.  Ages 13 and up.

Hate grabbing hot bowls from the microwave? Never fear! Learn how to sew a flower-shaped bowl cozy that will protect your fingers from the heat. These quilted bowls can also serve as trays for holding your trinkets around the house.

Join us for an afternoon of creative expression and calm.  Each month we will work on diamond painting a coaster based on a holiday/seasonal theme.  This group is extremely popular, and seating is limited to 8.
