Bring your projects, patterns, and questions to Elsie Quirk Library and join the Quirky Knitters for an afternoon of knitting and crochet.  All skill levels welcome.  Registration is not required, so come on in to knit and chat!

Children are invited to read with certified pet therapy dogs. The program encourages conversation and develops reading and communication skills.

Join us for an afternoon of STEM fun! Challenge yourself to make a tower out of toothpicks with the provided materials to see which material works the best.  Best for ages 5-12.

In this class learn more about different collaging techniques and make your own work of art!

Melt and mold recycled crayons from the Shannon Staub Children's Department into special cosmic swirled crayons you can take home.

Join artist, Sarah Dean, and learn to draw to your heart's content and have fun creating art! This art class is open both experienced artists and complete beginners. Attend one or all!

Calling all families with readers! Our dog friends from the Suncoast Humane Society are returning to the Jacaranda Library, and they want you to read to them!

Each month we will try out a new DIY project you can make and take home.

Transform a mason jar into a galaxy that you can hold in your hand using paint, water, cotton balls, and glitter. 

Children are invited for a special opportunity to share a story with a furry friend! Take advantage of this no-pressure, judgment-free zone to practice reading with a certified therapy dog.  Space is limited. First come, first seated.
