Join us for storytime! Stories, rhymes, songs, and simple crafts for little ones and their special grownup. 

Ages 2-5. Join certified instructor Sheila Blake for yoga poses with fun active storytelling and creative movement for preschoolers. Please bring your own mat. Limit 24. Get your tickets at the Youth desk starting at 10 a.m.

Join a lively book club for inspiring conversations! Cirque D' Book meets on the fourth Monday of most months. A different book title is chosen every month to explore. Registration is not required.

Creative movement provides a tangible way for children to experience events in stories. It allows them to step into characters' shoes and try on their superpowers and actions. What a wonderful way to engage young learners in books!

Join other tweens on Mondays this summer for Minecraft adventures and popular board games. Attendees will have the ability to join others on a world building survival map or play board games with other tweens.

Artist Barbara Gerdeman, as part of the Artists in the Libraries, will guide program participants in using matte medium to collage strips of old book pages onto 5" x 7" canvases.

Learn about sustainability, recycling, and creativity with the music of The Garbage Men and their amazing DIY recycled instruments. 

Children are invited to read with certified pet therapy dogs from the Suncoast Humane Society Pet Therapy Team. This program encourages conversation and develops reading and communication skills.

A representative from All Faiths Food Bank will be available to help with your SNAP application. 

Appointments are preferred but not required. 

Everyone loves a funny story - or a funny storyteller - or a story with funny characters - or just a good laugh.  This workshop offers strategies and tips for adding humor to your story or your presentation or both.

If you like writing your own pieces or would like to branch out and grow your creativity, come join us for our Teen Writers Club! We will be meeting weekly on Mondays @ 4 p.m. Ages 11-18 welcome!
