Every third Saturday of the month, this program aims to inspire a love for reading and learning new things. Fun and engaging stories are followed by arts and crafts and other activities. Please register both caregiver and child.

Join Teresa as she teaches the art of origami. She likes to create items to decorate a home or to give away as a gift. She brings in her own extra work as examples and sometimes to give away.

Every third Saturday of the month, children are invited to read with certified pet therapy dogs. This program encourages conversation and develops reading and communication skills.

A Sidewalk Astronomer will teach you how to recognize star patterns and use them as a map! You will also build a simple sextant to measure your latitude on Earth. Participants will also practice safe solar gazing through a telescope.

Monk San will guide us in a peaceful meditation here at the library. No previous experience or materials required. If you have a meditation cushion or yoga mat, you are welcome to bring it with you.
