Students who attend Part 1 will continue to research their family history on the second day in Part 2 during which the class instructor is available to answer questions and help the students in their research. Basic computer skills are required.

Summer Breakspot Lunches for children and teens ages 0-18. Provided by Sarasota County Food and Nutrition Services.
Summer Lunch Program
Free lunches for anyone up to age 18 will be served in the youth program room on weekdays, June 3-Aug. 2 excluding July 4. Hot lunches are served on Monday through Thursday, and bagged lunches are served on Fridays.

DJ Music and Photo Booth
All ages. Put on funny props and pose in the free photo booth and move to the music of disc jockey JamAllDay. Limit 50. Come to the Youth Desk starting one hour ahead to pick up a free ticket.
New movies every Tuesday in the meeting room. Movie schedules are published bimonthly and available at the front circulation desk.
Technology Playground
Drop in and play with cool tech toys including DropMix, Robots, Snap Circuit and more! This drop-in program runs for two hours. Space is limited; as earlier participants leave, others may join. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

This group is great for teens who love creative writing. Some things that our meetings will cover include: designing characters, writing short stories (or even long ones!), poetry, plotlines, group projects, story prompts, games, and more!
