Upa Yoga is a good starting point for those who are new to yoga, and it can be used as a preparation for other yoga practices. These 90 minute sessions are offered by Dr. Pallavi Lowery of the Isha Institute of Inner Sciences.

Drop-in breastfeeding support and education will be offered at no charge by a trained peer counselor from Healthy Start Coalition with the goal of increasing knowledge and awareness for mothers.

If you are interested in volunteering at the Gulf Gate Library this summer, you must attend the summer volunteer orientation. You will also have the opportunity to complete your volunteer training after the orientation.

Legislative Update

Kickoff the Summer Reading "Libraries Rock!"  with DJ Jamaal Day - his music and his 3-D photobooth - and dancing and food and tons of fun!

Come use our Adobe/ Mac software and sewing machines on your own personal projects. Time slots are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Using Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book as inspiration, Asolo Rep’s theatrical workshops provide the opportunity for participants to create their own storytelling jungle adventure. For ages 5-13.

Join other tweens and teens for the Gulf Gate Library Summer Kick Off ice cream social. Attendees will have the opportunity to register for the summer reading program and other summer events. Hope to see you there.

Ages 5 and up. Work on your own creations or build as a team. We provide the LEGOs, you provide the imagination. Creations will be on display in the youth area for one week following the programs.
