Program Description

Details

Upa Yoga is a simple yet powerful set of ten practices that activate the joints, muscles, and energy system, bringing ease to the whole system. It is a good starting point for those who are new to yoga, and it can be used as a preparation for other yoga practices. It takes only 5-10 minutes to practice daily. Each 90-minute session is designed for all levels; free and open to all age 7 and up.

This program is offered by the Isha Foundation, an international non-profit, non-religious, public service organization aimed to bring well-being to everyone through yoga and meditation. The session will be conducted by a trained facilitator, after which free ongoing online support will also be available so participants can continue to practice on their own.

It is recommended to bring a yoga mat and a towel, and arrive on an empty stomach (at least 1 ½ hours after a light meal). RSVP recommended at www.innerengineering.com/free-sessions; walk-ins are also welcome.
