Presented by Community and School gardens Coordinator, Mindy Hanak, the One Seed program engages the community in a shared gardening experience that includes seed saving and sharing, growing tips, favorite recipes and more! Modeled after the libraries' One Book program, One Seed selects and distributes the seeds of a single crop throughout our community.

Join our class at your local library to learn more about this year's crop, SWISS CHARD, and how to sow, grow, and eat it, too! If you're new to Florida gardening, interested in upping your edible gardening game, have grown SWISS CHARD and want to share your expertise, or if you just have a great SWISS CHARD recipe, we'd love to see you at the library! Attendees receive a free packet of seeds!
