Program Description
Join world traveler, Jane Mahler, for a trip to two scenic locations in South America!
Igauzu Falls, running between Brazil and Argentine, is the largest waterfall system in the world and one of the most spectacular. Patagonia is a vast wilderness on the south end of South America, encompassing about half of Chile and half of Argentina. National Geographic selected one area in the Chilean side as the fifth most beautiful location on the planet. Jane hiked in the Andes mountains, viewed glaciers and visited some of the penguins that almost outnumber the people. She recalls that "it was one breathtaking vista after another."
