Join us for a magical journey through the beaches and rain forests of Madagascar led by Jane Mahler. Best known for its lemurs, colorful chameleons, and towering baobab trees, the Republic of Madagascar is home to some of the world's most unique flora and fauna. Almost all of Madagascar's reptile and amphibian species, half of its birds, and all of its lemurs can be found nowhere else on earth. There was stunning scenery, close proximity to beautiful and engaging wildlife, and cultural exchanges with local people who were interested in sharing their way of life.
