Join world-traveler Jane Mahler for engaging commentary and stunning pictures of magical Morocco!

The Kingdom of Morocco, a constitutional monarchy, is predominantly Berber but has retained Arabian and European cultural influences. There are Roman ruins from the first century, UNESCO World Heritage ancient cities, and the more well-known ones, Casablanca and Marrakech. Morocco also boasts beautiful coastlines, the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. There are the exotic sights and sounds of the medinas (old centers) and souks (markets) of the cities as well as the famous ‘blue city,’ Chefchaouen.

There is something magical for every explorer here!

Jane Mahler has been an enthusiastic traveler for most of her life and lived overseas for seven years. To quote Mark Twain, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.”  She retired after 24 years with Sarasota County School District, working in finance and federal grant management. She was co-chair of the Travel Committee for the Singles on the Go travel club, and enjoys working in her garden and hosting dinner parties with friends between trips.
