Join us as Jane Mahler takes us on a trip to Madagascar.

The Republic of Madagascar is home to some of the world’s most unique flora and fauna from Lemurs, colorful chameleons and towering baobab trees. Almost all of Madagascar’s reptile and amphibian species, half of its birds, and all its lemurs can be found nowhere else on earth. Jane Mahler will share her visit to this beautiful republic with its unique wildlife. Surrounded by stunning scenery, get a special glimpse into a remote location, requiring a charter plane and long boat ride it truly is off the beaten path. Join us for a magical journey through the beaches and rain forests of Madagascar, also called the 8th continent.

Jane Mahler has been an enthusiastic traveler for most of her life and lived overseas for seven years. To quote M Jane Mahler has been an enthusiastic traveler for most of her life and lived overseas for seven years. To quote Mark Twain, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.”. She retired after 24 years with Sarasota County School District, working in finance and federal grant management. Jane was co-chair of the Travel Committee for the Singles on the Go travel club and enjoys working in her garden and hosting dinner parties with friends between trips.
