Program Description

Nestled in the Himalayas on India's Tibetan Plateau, Ladakh offers a stunning high-altitude desert landscape and a glimpse into traditional Tibetan culture with its ancient temples and monasteries. The Taj Mahal, an ivory-white marble mausoleum completed in 1648, is a breathtaking monument to love, housing the tombs of Emperor Shah Jahān and his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The beauty of the Taj Mahal is enhanced by the vibrant colors of the saris worn by visitors.
