Program Description

Melbourne is the cultural capital of Australia and known for its arts scene and striking architecture. The Red Centre is an extraordinary landscape of desert plains, weathered mountain ranges, rocky gorges and some of Aboriginal Australia's most sacred sites, including Uluru and Kata Tjuṯa. In the center is Alice Springs, a town which serves as an integral part of Australia's history and a fascinating stop along the rugged path explorers take through the rough, wild Outback. Learn about all these locations and more in this travelogue by Jane Mahler!
