In this hilarious comedy, Mildred Wild has virtually escaped her humdrum life into a fantasy world conjured up by the 3,000 movies she has eagerly devoured. Reality intrudes via her long-suffering husband, a hard-boiled landlady, a critical sister-in-law, a nun and an efficient TV crew, but they are no match for Mildred.
