Program Description
Summer Learning
This event is one of this year's Summer Learning programs. Check out all of the fun programs at all of our library locations. There's something for everyone!
Teens and tweens, come join us for a special craft presented by Maria McIntyre from Juniper Moon Apiary! Learn all about local pollinators and how beeswax is made. Then, get crafty using melted beeswax to make your very own beeswax luminary and decorate your creation with pressed flowers and seeds!
Electric candles will be provided to ensure your craft shines.
Note: This program involves working with hot wax. Teens and tweens will be dipping a water balloon in hot wax repeatedly to create the luminary.
