Program Description
Looking for ways your kids can have fun in the sun this coming summer? Join us for Solar for Kids! Kids will learn about solar energy and even how to make their own solar oven cooker at home! Participants will directly observe an example of how the heat can be captured and used for cooking, through making s'mores in a solar oven.
This is part of our One Book One Community program, whose selection for 2022 is “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” by William Kamkwamba.
