Please note, registering additional siblings or adults accompanying the child is not required. Families of registered individuals are welcome into the room as needed. 

This storytime is geared for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder though all children are welcome. Enjoy stories, songs and activities, and then self-directed sensory playtime at the end.

October Theme: Monsters and bats

Storytime Outline: 

  • Introduction: This is where the staff member says hello, reminds children of the theme, and walks through the schedule in person.
  • Hello Song: Features American Sign Language. Staff member will teach the signs, followed by a demonstration, then one additional time singing.
  • Story 1 (book)
  • Song/Activity 1
  • Story 2 (Can be an oral story, fingerplay story, puppet show, or book)
  • Song/Activity 2
  • Play Time
  • Clean up (featuring a clean up song)
