Program Description
Join Dr. Katherine Clements, ecology and natural resources educator for UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County, to learn about some of our most common birds of prey in Sarasota County. Dr. Clements will discuss where you are most likely to see them, opportunities for birding in our county, as well as the natural history and unique adaptations for a select number of species, like bald eagles, red-shouldered hawks, caracara, osprey, swallow-tailed kite, and our 5 species of owls.
