About This Lecture
In Florida, a shell-filled past lies right beneath our feet and was made by the hands of people living in our state thousands of years ago. Shell middens are some of Florida's oldest cultural monuments and can help us understand how people ate, their social culture, their daily activities, and much more. Join Dr. Uzi Baram as we explore the storied past of the middens "Made in Florida"!
