The Sarasota County Department of Libraries and Historical Resources is proud to be hosting the Sarasota County History Day contest at Selby Library on Saturday, February 24, 2024! Middle and high school students from all over the county have been researching historical topics of their choosing and building impressive projects in a variety of categories. Projects in the Exhibit category will be on display and open to the public for viewing from 10:00am to 12:15pm in the Selby Library Rotunda. The judging area will then close for interviews and scoring. Come see the remarkable work of our local students!
