Everyone is invited drop by and celebrate with us as we congratulate Youth Services Librarian, Cris Walton on her retirement!
Cris, began working at the Elsie Quirk Library in October of 1977 - 44 years ago! She quickly recognized the need for children's programming at the library and started the first formal story time at Elsie Quirk Library. She has spent her career providing quality programs for the children and youth in the Englewood community.
Craft supplies will be on hand for those who wish to create a card for "Miss Cris". Come and share a fond memory and wish her well on the next chapter in her story.
Light refreshments will be served.
