In this one-woman show, Peggy Martin portrays Anne Sullivan, who taught deaf and blind child Helen Keller how to read. Anne serves as a beacon for those in the teaching profession who everyday are faced with the task of reaching students and changing their lives forever.
Peggy has written and performed many portrayals of historical figures that she has staged for Venice Library over the years. We are delighted to have her return to our new library for this very special event.
