Program Description
Join us for a fun, informative session of freestyle art. This session will kick off with a brief intro to Claude Monet, the French painter and founder of Impressionism. Impressionism was a 19th-century art movement characterized by visible brush strokes, open composition, emphasis on accurate depiction of light in its changing qualities, ordinary subject matter, unusual visual angles, and inclusion of movement as a crucial element of human perception and experience.
Convey your emotions, thoughts, or ideas on canvas, highlighting and accentuating them or dissolving them away through color. Imagine a way to minimize anxiety and defeat negative vibes. Get into a state of mindful flow and help us create a beautiful piece of art. Open to all levels of artistic ability.
