Paint Away V: Scribble and Splat like Basquiat - afternoon session

Join us for a fun, informative session of freestyle art. This session will kick off with a brief intro to Jean-Michel Basquiat, the American artist who rose to success as part of the Neo-expressionism movement of the 1980s.Take inspiration from graffiti and use vivid colors, recognizable objects, and codes of all kinds: words, letters, numerals, pictograms, or logos. We're not aiming for realism here!

Convey your emotions, thoughts, or ideas on canvas, highlighting and accentuating them or dissolving them away through color. Imagine a way to minimize anxiety and defeat negative vibes. Get into a state of mindful flow and help us create a beautiful piece of art. Open to all levels of artistic ability.
