Are you a birder or nature enthusiast, or do you want to be one? Come to our meet-up at the Shannon Staub Library Pond! Novices and experts are welcome. Barbara Lockhart will help identify birds and native plants, and teach you how to slow down and observe the world around you.

We suggest that you bring a hat and sunscreen, bug spray, sneakers, bird guide and binoculars if you have, and a small backpack with water and a snack. Keep in mind, we will be near a natural habitat and the ponds may contain alligators--please exercise caution. All ages are welcome with proper supervision.

We will meet in the main lobby at the library's entrance. Be sure to check out the attached resource guide for birding resources!
