"Music on the Lawn" featuring The Garbage-Men

Join us for an outdoor socially distanced live musical performance. This program will be held on the grassy lawn at the rear of the library building. Bring your hat and lawn chair along to enjoy the music.

The Garbage-Men are a Sarasota-based musical group that specialize in musical performance, music education, and sustainability education. The band's electric instruments are handmade from recycled materials. The group performs popular rock n roll songs from bands such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Ramones, and more. The Garbage-Men discuss the history of rock n' roll, the theory behind its composition, as well as how recycled materials can be used in inventive ways.
