Leela Corman is an author, illustrator, cartoonist, and singer from NYC. Now based in Gainesville, Florida, Leela writes, draws, and instructs students at UF's College of the Arts and the Sequential Artists Workshop.
The granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, Leela's work often focuses on Jewish identity and experiences in America and Europe. She is the author of the novels Subway Series, Unterzakhn, and We All Wish for Deadly Force, and has also contributed numerous pieces to Tablet Magazine. Leela will share her past work and current research for her upcoming novel Victory Parade about the Holocaust and WWII.
