Come learn about the reign of Queen Joanna the First! This amazing woman, who lived a century before Queen Elizabeth I of England, ruled the Kingdom of Naples for five decades and was one of the most successful rulers of her time. Author Jane Ann McLachlan tells of the difficulties she endured along the way, including kidnappings and the Black Death!
This presentation will include lecture, dramatic readings portraying events in Joanna’s life, and a Q&A period at the end.
