Jenny Aldrich Preforms As: "Lilla Cabot Perry": Impressions of Monet and the Americans in Giverny

Born a “Boston Brahmin” in 1848, Lilla Perry, a married mother of three daughters, decided to become a professional artist at the age of 36. In this presentation, created and performed by Jenny Aldrich, Mrs. Perry shares stories and insights about Monet, Sargent, Theodore Robinson, John Breck and the art colony known as “the cradle of American Impressionism.”
