Sam Rivers was a visionary multi-instrumentalist and composer whose adventurous style spanned bebop, free jazz, and orchestral improvisation. His bold, innovative voice helped redefine modern jazz from the 1960s onward.

Join the Jazz Club of Sarasota in celebrating Jazz Appreciation Month! This series of four one-hour concerts honor some of the most influential musicians in the history of jazz.
