Program Description

Japan stands as a fascinating mixture of advanced technology and timeless commitment to tradition. While greater Tōkyō is the most populated metropolitan area in the world, it is easy to navigate and has many green spaces and gardens throughout the city. There are ancient shrines and temples juxtaposed with cutting edge technology. Mt. Fuji is a beautiful volcano that epitomizes the Japanese view of nature and their culture as the mountain has been an object of worship and a source of artistic inspiration. The villages in the mountains of the Kii peninsula are a glimpse into the ancient customs and the beauty of the countryside.
