Program Description

Details

Join Barry Zamoff, The Director of Community Relations for the Jackie Robinson Project, to learn about Jackie Robinson's many ambitions. Well known as the baseball player who integrated the modern major leagues, Jackie Robinson is all too often overlooked as the catalyst of America's civil rights movement. This presentation will cover Robinson's playing days with the Brooklyn Dodgers, his major accomplishments as an informal civil rights leader during his post-baseball career, and his continued relevance today.

Limited Seating. Registration Required.
