The world knows Harriet Beecher Stowe as the internationally famous author of Uncle Tom's Cabin. What is not so well known is Mrs. Stowe was a resident of post-Civil-War Florida, and was an active promoter of the state, encouraging northerners to experience the health benefits of the "Florida" lifestyle. Please join author and editor Liz Coursen as she explores the life and historic milieu of Harriet Beecher Stowe.
