Please join author Liz Coursen to explore the life and career of baseball great Hank Greenberg. Greenberg was the first Jewish baseball superstar, and a symbol of pride in America during the 20th Century. He played in Major League Baseball, primarily for the Detroit Tigers as a first baseman in the 1930s and 1940s and was one of the premier power hitters of his generation.
