Friends of the Selby Public Library Crystal Ball: The People's Gala Fundraiser

It’s party time at the Selby library and everyone is invited! It’s not every day that people can participate in the “Eat, Drink, Dance and be Charitable” The Crystal Ball, a People’s Gala fundraiser. A gastronomic showcase will give attendees the opportunity to sample the best of Sarasota’s restaurants, one bite at a time. A gathering of over 30 of the best restaurants will present their finest foods and feature some of the region's most celebrated chefs.

If you’re the kind who can’t sit still and would rather dance the night away, Reverend Barry and the Funk Band, one of Southwest Florida’s most popular band has something for everyone! This high-energy 8-piece funk & soul band will be playing the greatest funk/soul/R&B hits from the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s with a live 3-piece horn section.
