Join us for "Fall Prevention 102," a dynamic and informative workshop designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools to reduce the risk of falls. Falls are a common concern, especially as we age, but with the right awareness and strategies, we can take steps to prevent them.
This workshop teaches you how to:
1. Individualize balance exercises
2. Improve walking gait
3. Progressively challenge your balance
You will also learn how to train your sensory systems of balance with vision training techniques, inner ear training techniques, and body movement training techniques.
This workshop is a one-time event and serves as an excellent introduction to the comprehensive 8-week "A Matter of Balance" fall prevention program. The 8-week program builds upon the principles covered in Fall Prevention 101 and Fall Prevention 102, providing a more in-depth exploration of fall prevention strategies.
Whether you are proactively seeking fall prevention strategies or considering joining our 8-week program, this workshop offers valuable information and a chance to make informed decisions about your well-being.
