There has always been a connection between the campfire story and art, and in modern times that connection changes faster and plants deeper. There is a connection between haunted folklore and modern social and mass media. With local examples of how haunted legends have changed and an interactive trip down the digital rabbit hole, participants will examine the traditional ghost story and then see how the new platforms they use everyday have shifted the story while relying on the old ideas.
