Program Description

Details

With an estimated 12,000 insect species in Florida one could easily get overwhelmed when trying to identify an insect on a backyard plant.  While many are beneficial there are a few problem pests.  It’s important to know the difference! Join us for an engaging conversation on identifying backyard bugs, beneficial insects, and problem pests. You will learn how to identify insects through their feeding behavior as well as understand how using integrated pest management strategies can help support a healthy ecosystem.
