Program Description

Details

No need to share your home with creepy crawlers. This program will cover simple, low cost ways to pest proof your home from common insects.

Insects are an amazing and important part of the ecosystem. While in the landscape - they are pollinators, predators, decomposers, and detritivores.  However, while most insects are considered 'good bugs', almost all insects that find their way into our home are considered pests.

This program will cover the common insects found in the home- from pantry pests to bed bugs. We will cover insect characteristics and discuss preventative steps you can take to keep insects where they belong - outside - and all this without the use of conventional chemicals. We will also discuss the biorational pesticides that can be used in the home that are both effective and safe to use around your family and pets.
