Program Description

Details

Art Deco is an influential visual arts design style that first appeared in France after WWI. It became an international phenomenon in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. The Style combines traditional craft motifs with machine-made materials that have a sleek, elongated look. The luxurious look and feel of the materials, the bold geometric shapes, and the sensual glamour reflected an exuberant spirit which embraced technological progress.
